U.S. CISA adds Check Point, Arista VeloCloud Orchestrator, and F5 BIG-IP APM flaws to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog
U. S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) adds Check Point, Arista VeloCloud Orchestrator, and F5 BIG-IP APM flaws to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. The U. S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) added the following vulnerabilities to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog : • CVE-2026-85102 Check Point Multiple Products Improper Certificate Validation Vulnerability • CVE-2026-93616 Check Point Multiple Products Path Traversal Vulnerability • CVE-2026-93952 Arista VeloCloud Orchestrator Improper Input Validation Vulnerability • CVE-2026-94127 F5 BIG-IP APM Heap-based Buffer Overflow Vulnerability CVE-2026-85102 resides in the VPN negotiation process and lets an unauthenticated attacker bypass security checks and run their own code on the gateway.
Attackers hit Check Point Management Servers and Spark firewalls, F5 BIG-IP APM instances
Check Point Software has released emergency fixes for a critical Check Point Management Server vulnerability (CVE-2026-93616) that has been exploited as far back as July 23, 2026. The company also confirmed that a pre-authentication remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability (CVE-2026-85102) in Check Point (Quantum) Security Gateway for which it released patches on September 9, 2026, started getting probed a few days after. “At the time [of the release of the patches], we had no evidence … More → The post Attackers hit Check Point Management Servers and Spark firewalls, F5 BIG-IP APM instances appeared first on Help Net Security .
Check Point Fixes a New Actively Exploited Critical Security Flaw
Check Point fixes an actively exploited flaw that lets unauthenticated attackers upload and run scripts on vulnerable Security Management Servers. Check Point has released emergency hotfixes for CVE-2026-93616, a critical path traversal flaw in its Security Management Server. The security firm bug is already being exploited. Attackers can abuse the flaw without logging in to upload malicious scripts and execute them on vulnerable servers. Because the Management Server controls security policies, admin activity and system logs across Check Point deployments, a compromise could have a wider impact on an enterprise network. The vulnerability affects more than Check Point’s main Security Management Server. The impacted products include Security Management Server, Multi-Domain Security Management Server, Log Server, Multi-Domain Log Server, and SmartEvent.
Check Point Warns of Management Server Zero-Day Exploited in Targeted Attacks
Attackers exploited a previously unknown flaw in Check Point's Security Management Server in a handful of targeted attacks on July 23, the company said. The flaw, CVE-2026-93616, allows an attacker who can access the server's web service to run scripts on it without logging in. Check Point released a fix on September 22 for the server that controls firewall policies for the Check Point
Check Point Management Server 0-Day Vulnerability Actively Exploited in Attacks
Check Point has warned customers that attackers are exploiting a critical zero-day vulnerability in its Security Management infrastructure. Tracked as CVE-2026-93616 , the flaw carries a CVSS score of 9. 8 and enables an unauthenticated remote attacker to upload and execute arbitrary scripts on an exposed Management Server. Check Point says it has identified a handful of targeted customer attacks and has released emergency fixes. The vulnerability combines directory traversal with unsafe file-upload behavior in the Check Point Management web service . By manipulating file paths, an attacker can cause the service to execute a script from an arbitrary location and load an arbitrary Java class without first authenticating.
CISA Adds Four Known Exploited Vulnerabilities to Catalog
CISA has added four new vulnerabilities to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog , based on evidence of active exploitation. • CVE-2026-85102 Check Point Multiple Products Improper Certificate Validation Vulnerability • CVE-2026-93616 Check Point Multiple Products Path Traversal Vulnerability • CVE-2026-93952 Arista VeloCloud Orchestrator Improper Input Validation Vulnerability • CVE-2026-94127 F5 BIG-IP APM Heap-based Buffer Overflow Vulnerability These types of vulnerabilities are a frequent attack vector for malicious cyber actors and pose significant risks to the federal enterprise. Binding Operational Directive (BOD) 26-04: Prioritizing Security Updates Based on Risk establishes vulnerability management requirements for Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) agencies.
